Wi-Fi Done Right by Design in Nashua, NH
A homeowner in a 2023-built single-family home in Nashua was frustrated by speeds that were nowhere near their ISP tier and unreliable connections. Despite having a 1.4 gigabit service plan, the existing mesh system and wireless-only connections failed to deliver consistent performance across the 2,176-square-foot property.
The Challenge
The primary problem was “speed nowhere near ISP speed and unreliable connections.” The home was equipped with an inferior mesh system that relied on wireless-only backhaul, leading to spotty coverage. As the client noted, they were looking for a solution that was “thorough” and could finally provide the “updated system and improved home speeds” they expected from their 1.4 Gbps service.
Our Approach
We follow our core principle: “Design for the home, not the box.” Instead of simply swapping one retail device for another, we assessed the 2023 structure to design a system around its specific layout. We upgraded the home to a premium mesh system using a strategic mix of ethernet and wireless backhaul between mesh routers. Rod conducted a thorough initial requirements call and the team followed up with a detailed on-site home survey to ensure the design matched the home’s physical realities.
The Results
| Location | Before (Xfinity/TP-Link) | After (Eero Pro 7) | Improvement |
| Direct to Router | 936 Mbps | 1,305 Mbps | +39% |
| Basement (HVAC) | 536 Mbps | 1,114 Mbps | +108% |
| Basement Gym | 497 Mbps | 800 Mbps | +61% |
| 1st Floor (Family Room) | 377 Mbps | 849 Mbps | +125% |
| 2nd Floor (Landing) | 349 Mbps | 932 Mbps | +167% |
| Master Bedroom | 253 Mbps | 916 Mbps | +262% |

Before and After Wi-Fi performance survey showing improvement across all floors.
Outcome
The result is an “updated system and improved home speeds and coverage” that the client describes as “working fantastic.” By utilizing existing infrastructure and premium hardware, we delivered Warp Speed and Excellent performance levels throughout the home without the need for new wiring.
